Microsoft is expanding its free email service, Excel Round Down, to include emails from Microsoft employees.
The new free feature will automatically send emails to employees with a Microsoft employee email address.
Excel can send emails at the beginning of a conference call, the end of a meeting, and to those who have been selected to receive an email at the end.
Excell Round Down will automatically email to anyone who has the Microsoft employee address.
The service will be available on Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and Windows 10 Pro, which is the current version.
Exllude, Microsoft’s email marketing software, will also be added to Excell.
Microsoft has not provided a reason for the new feature, but Microsoft’s Chief Marketing Officer Brad Smith said in an interview with Business Insider that it will help with the “challenges that are being faced by employees.”
Excell has been around for more than 10 years and is currently available in over 60 countries.
